Its that time of year again and I had the enviable task of creating the There christmas card for this year. The chosen idea was based upon the humble post-it note, I asked everyone in the studio to draw, scribble, write a festive message on a post-it note and 351 handwritten notes were used to create the ‘Merry Xmas’ wall installation in the studio. We designed a 500×500mm large Post-It inspired poster to show the image and each poster was sealed in a clear plastic bag and sent out containing 1 of the actual Post-Its used in the installation. See more images of how we did it here

The Christmas by colour project that I mentioned a few weeks back has announced the ‘nice list’ which is the list of contributors which have had there submitted colour selected for the final poster. The poster should be available this week and Im delighted to say that I made the list. Check here for the full rundown of the nice list and have a look here to buy a poster. Looking forward to seeing the final package! It’ll be like Christmas…Hmm!

I couldn’t help but get a shot or two of this sign I noticed on Foster St. on my way home from the studio. If ever a more appropriate sign has been knocked over I can’t imagine it. Anyway I have added it and lots more to a new Flickr set I have imaginatively titled ‘Signs of Sydney’ which (if you so inclined) you can see here

I went to the opening of ‘Taken by Storm’ an exhibition showcasing the work of legendary music album cover creator Storm Thorgerson last night at the Global gallery in Paddington, Sydney. If anyone is around they should head down there its fantastic and on until Jan 13th. I also had the opportunity to sit and chat with Storm and he’s an inspirational figure and a jolly nice chap top boot. If your not familiar with his work (you will be) check out the exhibition here
